My Favourite Genres!

Hi Readers,

My favourite genres in library are humour and fantasy genres because I like when a book is funny because it cheats me up when I get told a joke or funny stories. I like fantasy books because they really interesting and don’t really relate to the real world. An example of these genres would be Weirdo by Anh Do, this book is full of jokes and laughter. It’s one of the funniest books I’ve ever read! An example of a fantasy book is Harry Potter, it’s a very popular and for me it really draws you in and you always want to keep reading.

My favourite book chat book this year is How To Bee by Bren McDibble, I like it because it has a lot of problems that have to be solved and the main character, Peony, her mum moved her to the city from where she came from the farm. She is forced to do chores to earn money for food.

What’s your favourite genre? Why?

  1. Hi Georgia,

Great first post for 2019! I love the detail you’ve included in your post and the way you’ve included a relevant image.

I’m glad you enjoyed How To Bee; it’s a very unusual story, isn’t it? I don’t think I’ve read another book quite like it. Bren MacDibble has a new book out called Dog Runner. It also looks very interesting!

In answer to your question, my favourite genres are probably historical fiction and world cultures because I love learning about different times and places.

Keep up the great blogging! (BTW, I love the layout of your blog … it’s super clear to the reader)

    Miss Davidson.

  2. Hi Georgia,
Great post! I liked how descriptive it was and how you described a short recap of the book your reading. My favourite genre is family and friendship because the main character goes through a series of problems and they have to solve them. Keep up the good work,

    Grace
